Masaba Gupta’s family has been in distress in the past few days, as the year 2025 started with the worst news coming out of Los Angeles. Several people, including celebrities, lost their homes in the wildfires, which have not yet calmed down. Now, the famous designer-turned-actor, Masaba revealed that her sister-in-law’s family also suffered the loss in the Los Angeles wildfire.

Masaba Gupta’s sister-in-law, Chinmaya Misra, lost her home in the wildfires in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles in the United States. Taking to her Instagram stories, Masaba revealed that her sister-in-law and her family lost their home. She called it a devastating few days and revealed that her 16-year-old niece has started a fundraiser to rebuild their lives in LA. She wrote:
“My sister-in-law and her family have lost their home to the fire in the Pacific Palisades.. like so many other families. While they are safe, it has been a devastating past few days, and my 16-year-old niece has started a fundraiser to help rebuild their lives in LA. If you are able to donate, it would help tremendously. If you are not – a prayer goes a long way too.”
