Bold and Beautiful sees Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) pretty much losing everything in her life, and that might inspire her to go running back to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) soon. We’re going to talk about the possibility of Hope turning to Liam and him shutting her down because he is still fixated on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Bold and the Beautiful: Hope’s Downfall – Career, Relationships, and Family Turmoil
So, right now, we’ve got Hope’s life falling apart, pretty much crushed all around. The entire Forrester family is against her. She’s been booted from the company for a second time. She’s lost her line again. And she has lost Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) because he betrayed her. Now, she dumped him. But she felt like she had no choice.
On top of that, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) just chewed her a new one and blamed Hope for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) turning his back on her and choosing Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). With everything Hope has gone through throughout her life, she’s always had her mom. Brooke has always been Hope’s rock and had her back and stood up for her and defended her, no matter what, even when what Hope did was indefensible, like helping steal a company.
Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke Wants More from Hope
But this time is different. And of course, Brooke’s ill temper does have something to do with her losing Ridge. But Brooke also wants her daughter to take accountability for her actions. But she won’t do it. She’s refusing to. Hope still doesn’t think that she did anything wrong. And she blames everybody else for turning on her, including Brooke and Carter and everybody.
So, Hope’s lost just about everything. Her life’s in the toilet. She seems to be at her lowest point because of everything she’s lost. While that recent confrontation with Brooke turned into tears and hugs, I still don’t think it’s bygones and water under the bridge. I don’t think drama is behind them.
B&B: Will Hope Run Back to Liam? Exploring Potential Reconciliation
So, with all that loss, including Carter, we could see Hope make a surprising move. She may run back to Liam. Now, of course, Hope and Liam have been divorced for a while now, like well over a year, officially divorced. And they’re in a good place when it comes to co-parenting Beth.
However, if you remember back when Hope had first started dating Carter, right at that time, Liam had come back around sniffing for a reconciliation. He had talked to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) about it.
I think he talked to about it, and he was like, I’m going to, I’m going to win her back. And Hope told Liam no because she was just starting to date Carter. And he seemed like more of a one-woman man, and Carter was the key to Hope keeping Hope for the future. So, she told Liam no. But she knew he was interested. And she may assume he still is. And now that Hope is spiraling and Liam is still single, well, Hope may turn around and make a play for him.
Bold and the Beautiful: Liam’s Perspective – Stuck in a Rut and Still Fixated on Steffy?
And if you don’t recall, it was a few weeks ago, not that long ago, that Liam sat down with Steffy and basically said his life sucks. He said that he didn’t think this is where he would be in his life at this point, no woman. He’s basically just a dad, not much of a personal life. So, Hope may see all that and think, eh, why not, you know, make herself feel better, especially if she thinks that Liam is going to feed her ego and help heal all the little broken parts of her. She may think snagging Liam could fix everything.
B&B: Steffy’s Shadow – The Obstacle to Hope and Liam’s Reunion
But there’s one problem with Hope getting her hands on Liam again. And that problem’s name is Steffy Forrester. Of course, Hope can turn to Liam, talk to him about a reconciliation, tell him everything that’s gone wrong in her life, what happened with Forrester Creations and Carter. However, Hope may not get the reaction from Liam that she would want.
I think there’s a pretty good chance that Liam might side with Steffy because Hope did in fact help and encourage Carter to steal Forrester Creations from Steffy and her family. So, Liam might not like what Hope did to Steffy. And he may agree with Brooke and with Carter. Hope’s not taking responsibility for her actions.
Even if Liam isn’t actively angry with Hope, that still doesn’t mean he would jump at the chance of a reunion with her because something has changed in the time when Liam came sniffing around. And now he might have no time for Hope because he may have eyes for Steffy again soon.
Upcoming Spoilers: Liam, Steffy, and the Luna Factor
This week’s Bold and Beautiful spoilers have Liam running to confront his dad, Dollar Bill Spencer, about unleashing Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) on the world. And it’s got to be about the danger she poses to Steffy. So, Liam’s going to be over there fighting with his dad about risking Steffy’s life by him unleashing lunatic Luna. And then by Friday, Steffy is over at Bill’s place defending Liam.
So, in the meantime, Steffy has warned Finn (Tanner Novlan) he can not ever see Luna, and soon that’s going to start to chafe at Finn. And once Liam talks to Steffy, it’s only going to take about two seconds for Liam to realize that Steffy’s marriage to Finn is in a precarious state because of Luna. It may be in the most fragile place it’s ever been. And so, Liam may do everything he can to drive that wedge in deeper between Steffy and Finn.
He’s done it before. But in the past, Finn and Steffy were rock solid. And they’re not right now. So, Liam may see this as his opportunity to get Steffy back. And I don’t think he’s going to let that chance go. Liam could even goad Finn about the Luna ultimatum, pushing buttons trying to get Finn to defy Steffy.
Rejection and Revenge: Hope’s Potential Dark Turn
Bottom line, Liam’s eyes are again on Steffy as of this week, just as Hope may be turning her eyes back towards Liam. So, Hope may find herself rejected and furious if she goes to the trouble of crawling back to Liam only to find out he’s still hot for the woman she hates most in this world, which is Steffy. I mean, if she went to Liam and he rejected her, he might even wind up on Hope’s list of possible revenge targets.
If she makes a play for Liam and gets rejected, that’s one more reason for Hope to keep spiraling out of control. I’m actually hoping if she does turn to Liam that he will reject her because I think he’s the worst thing for her.
He is not a one-woman man. I’ve still got fingers crossed that we’re going to get Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) riding back from Paris on a white horse and playing knight in shining armor for a crushed and devastated Hope. I think that would be a much better happy ending than her back with Liam Spencer, king of all the waffle boys.
Bold and the Beautiful: A Darker Path for Hope – Villainy, Redemption, and Evolution
However, I will say as much as I would like to see Thomas back to be her hero, I would probably be just as happy to see Hope alone, single for a change, pursuing revenge and kind of being the darkest her character has ever been. And then we turn around and we have a whole redemption arc, because I love when they do a big arc for a character to evolve them. And it feels like Hope has been on this evolution for a couple of years now.
I think she would be a great little dark villain just for a minute though. I don’t think she’d kill anybody. But a little light torment might be fun. We’ll have to wait and see, but I’m excited about it.
