Fans have known for a while that The Rising of the Shield Hero was returning for a new season this summer, but now they know exactly how many days they have to count down until a new episode arrives. This weekend, Kadokawa unveiled the official release date for the upcoming season: new episodes start rolling out on July 9, a little more than three weeks from now. A trailer was unveiled along with the announcement, but a subbed version is yet to be released.
