Actor and director, Puneet Issar, recently sat for an interview with Siddharth Kannan and shared insights from Salman Khan’s tough times back in 2002 when he found himself at the centre of a legal battle. For the unversed, the 2002 hit-and-run case involved the Bodyguard actor who allegedly drove his Toyota Land Cruiser over five people sleeping on the pavement in Mumbai’s Bandra area, resulting in one death and injuries to four others. The incident sparked a nationwide debate, and the actor faced immense public scrutiny as a result. Recalling the tough times Salman went through, Puneet said that the actor was quite ‘disturbed’.
