Animehas become popular through its creativity and storytelling, which relies on animation to do what can’t be done in live-action. However, that doesn’t stop companies from bringing classic series to life, such as Dragon Ball and One Piece. Most of these adaptations have been unsuccessful and borderline offensive, but some, including Netflix’s live-action One Piece, have proved to be faithful and innovative, offering the best of both worlds.
