Blake Lively has found support and sisterhood in actresses America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel — her co-stars from the 2005 film The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants. Blake has accused It Ends With Us director-actor Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and launching a smear campaign to tarnish her career. Now, Ferrera, Tamblyn and Bledel have released a joint statement on Instagram.

The joint statement read, “As Blake [Lively]’s friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation. Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice.”

“Most upsetting is the“unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors’ stories to silence a woman who asked for safety. The hypocrisy is astounding. We are struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, celebrated, and resourced as our friend Blake, she can face forceful retaliation for daring to ask for a safe working environment. We are inspired by our sister’s courage to stand up for herself and others,” it read.

According to a report by TMZ, Blake Lively made serious allegations against Justin Baldoni claiming that the actor caused her severe emotional distress. As per the report, Lively has accused Baldoni of making inappropriate comments about weight on the film sets. The lawsuit added that Baldoni engaged in discussions pertaining to sexual topics and shared his “pornography addiction” with Lively as well as the other cast members.

However, Justin Baldoni‘s attorney refuted the allegations in a statement claiming they were “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious.” He also accused Lively of being “difficult” on the film sets.

It Ends With Us was released in August.
