Heading into 2025, Kinetic Games, the developers of Phasmophobia, have given players a brief preview of what’s to come in the game’s next major update. Originally released in October 2020, Phasmophobia is one of the earlier examples of an objective-based co-op horror game in a similar vein to later releases like Lethal Company and Content Warning, tasking players with gathering evidence to identify ghosts in haunted locales. Four years after its release, the game is still in early access on Steam but is receiving steady updates.
