Salim Khan never understood why Javed Akhtar separated ways from him
Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar were formidable forces in the Hindi film industry, and over the years, fans have pondered the reason behind their split. After staying silent for a long, Salim Khan recently sat down for an interview with Magic Moments and revealed that Javed Akhtar wanted to part ways with him. However, he never understood the exact cause behind the big decision by Javed and simply respected it. He was quoted as saying:
“Even I never understood; how will I explain it to anyone else? On one random day, he suddenly said that he wants to separate. We used to work together from morning till night. When he said main alag hona chahta hu. I thought I didn’t hear him clearly, but he was asking for a separation.”
