Despite recent speculation, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is not involved in Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s upcoming project, tentatively titled A6.
While earlier reports suggested she might be joining the cast, credible sources have clarified that she was never approached for the film.
“Priyanka Chopra Jonas was never in talks for the Allu Arjun starrer,” a source revealed. “Interestingly, she was once considered for a project featuring Salman Khan and Atlee, but that film is no longer happening.” A6 is said to be a parallel reality film, marking Allu Arjun’s first dual role. Atlee is reportedly aiming to craft a unique cinematic universe with this project and take it to a global audience. The film is expected to begin production in August 2025.
Fans of Priyanka Chopra Jonas can still look forward to her upcoming ventures, including the much-anticipated SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli. However, for now, the versatile star won’t be appearing alongside Allu Arjun in his high-octane entertainer, which is being backed by Sun Pictures.
Meanwhile, the source further confirmed, “Allu Arjun is super excited for his first collaboration with Atlee, and the first announcement will be out on April 8, coinciding with his birthday. The makers of the Pushpa franchise have made all their first and big announcements on Bunny’s birthday in the past. The promo’s release on April 8 will offer a glimpse into the film’s grand scale and Allu Arjun’s dynamic dual portrayal.”
