Kajol and Ajay Devgn are regarded as leading figures in the Hindi film industry, so it’s only natural for people to expect their children to follow in their footsteps, but Nysa is not entering Bollywood.
Kajol recently made a surprising remark about her daughter Nysa’s possible entry into Bollywood.
As per reports, during a recent event, Kajol was questioned about the possibility of her daughter Nysa making a Bollywood debut. The actress firmly dismissed the idea, stating, “Definitely not. I believe she’s 22 now, or close to it, and she has decided that she’s not stepping into Bollywood at this time.”
Kajol was also asked about the advice she would give to aspiring actors. She shared that she encourages newcomers to embrace their individuality rather than blindly following others’ suggestions. She further noted that aspiring actors are often told to alter their physical appearance, which can be quite discouraging.
Kajol said, “Pehle baat main yeh kehna chahungi ki please don’t take advise from everybody. Most importantly ki kyunki agar aap puchenge mujhe kya karna chahiye toh 100 log khare hoke bolenge tumhe yeh karna chahiye, tumhe apna naak badlo, tumhe apna haath badlo, baalon ka colour badlo, yeh karo vo karo.”
Kajol highlighted that it’s the individuals who stand out—not those who blend in—who leave a lasting impression. She stressed that whether it’s in acting or on social media, success comes from building a distinct identity and creating your own niche.
On the professional front, Kajol’s upcoming project is Maa, a mythological horror film directed by Vishal Furia, who’s currently in the spotlight for Chhorii 2 featuring Nushrratt Bharuccha. The first look of Maa showcases Kajol as a fierce mother on a mission to protect her daughter, portrayed by Kherin Sharma. The film also features Ronit Roy and Indraneil Sengupta in pivotal roles and is set to release on June 27.
