A 26-year-old Naval Officer, Vinay Narwal, who had joined Navy two years back, was honeymooning with his newly-married wife, Himanshi Narwal in Kashmir. However, on second day of their trip, at 3 p.m. he was brutally assisnated in Pahalgam terror attack. For those who don’t know, Vinay never wanted to visit Kashmir, but a failed visa to his dream place, forced him to take on the trip, which turned into nightmare for the entire family.
Vinay Narwal wanted to go to Switzerland with his wife
It is said that terrorists have no religion, and it proves in Pahalgam attacked as they intentionally killed Hindus, and a Muslim, who tried to stop them. Talking about Vinay, he could have skipped the destiny’s ugly game if his visa to Switzerland hadn’t been rejected. Yes, Vinay wanted to travel to the scenic place, but settled for Kashmir when the visa got rejected. A family member revealed:
“They had planned a honeymoon in Europe, but it was canceled due to visa issues. Instead, they left for Jammu and Kashmir on April 21 and stayed in a hotel in Pahalgam on April 22. After dining, they went to the destination point where the terrorist attack occurred.”
