AR Rahman talks about the public scrutiny he had to face following his separation from Saira Banu

In a heartfelt conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit, AR Rahman talked about the public scrutiny they had to go through. Talking about the same, AR Rahman shared that the choice of being in the public limelight is intentional, and as a result, the individual’s life gets reviewed. He shared that be it a rich person or even God, everyone gets reviewed, thus, he didn’t mind getting reviewed, too, for that matter. Talking more about the same, AR Rahman shared that as long as there is no toxicity, even those people who criticise him, are all kind of like a family to him. AR Rahman can be quoted as saying:

“The choice of being in public life is intentional, so everybody gets reviewed. Right from the richest person to even God gets reviewed, so who am I? As long as we stay together and are not conceited or toxic… even those who criticise us — they’re all family.”
