India has been left shattered by the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists who visited the beautiful place with their families to have a good time. Among those families, several newlywed couples arrived to celebrate their new beginnings, including Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who married six days ago and visited Pahalgam with his newlywed wife, Himanshi. The latter was left in shock after the incident, and her video paying last tribute to her husband left everyone emotional. While Vinay’s family was seen in tears at his final rites on April 23, 2025.

Navy officer, Vinay Narwal’s mortal remains were brought to IGI airport, Delhi, from Jammu and Kashmir and later, taken to his hometown Karnal by road. Hundreds of locals gathered to pay their final respects to the young officer. Moreover, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta arrived at the airport to pay her tribute and console Himanshi, who was left distraught over the incident. Vinay was cremated with full military honours in his hometown.
