

The Pahalgam terrorist attack has left the country distraught. Once known for its charm, picturesque hills and natural beauty, the place was filled with bloodshed, death and cries of 26 tourists who lost their lives in a terrorist attack. While their family members experienced an unforgettable trauma fueling rage across the country. Among those killed were several newly married couples, including Kanpur’s Shubham Dwivedi, who tied the knot in February 2025. He was visiting Kashmir’s Pahalgam with his wife, Eshanya, where he was brutally shot dead. His mortal remains were brought to Lucknow via flight that reached on April 23, 2025, at 11:30 pm, followed by his final rites on the next day.

Shubham Dwivedi, who was killed by terrorists in Pahalgam terrorist attack, was cremated on April 24, 2025, with complete state honours. His mortal remains were brought to Lucknow airport by a flight, and Deputy CM, Brajesh Pathak, along with Minister, Rakesh Sachan and Yogendra Upadhyay, arrived to pay his tribute. He was seen consoling Shubham’s father, who was crying at the heart-wrenching moment. A green corridor was created to let the ambulance go towards his home. On the early morning of April 24, 2025, his funeral procession left his home for the Deori Ghat. Eshanya kept staring at her husband’s photos, and his mother demanded justice at the painful incident.
