The eve of April 22, 2025, came smeared in the blood of the innocent as the news of a heinous attack in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir left the entire nation shocked. A total of twenty-six people fell victim to a terrorist attack. While the government has put sanctions on Pakistan for the horrid incident, actors from the neighbouring country have come forward to condemn the attack.
Mahira Khan shared a post on the Pahalgam attack but later deleted it
Twenty-six families lost someone to the cruel attack in Pahalgam, while over 10 were left injured after a brutal terrorist attack. According to the reports, the terrorists asked the victims about their religion before shooting them. While the country has been outraged by the occurrence, Pakistan’s actors have also come forward to condemn the act. After Fawad Khan and Hania Amir, actress Mahira Khan also took to her Instagram stories on the night of April 24, 2025, to share a post about the attack. However, the actress deleted the post in the early hours of April 25, 2025. Her post read:
“Violence anywhere in the world, in any shape or form, is an act of mere cowardice. My condolences to all those affected by the attack in Pahalgam.. #pahalgamattack.”
