Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani and his wife, Nita Ambani. He has always been known for his impressive work towards environment preservation and wildlife. Also, Anant, who turned 30, has been playing a pivotal role in Reliance’s group initiative towards sustainability as they aim to be a net-zero carbon company by 2035. But, the younger son of the Ambani clan has now received bigger responsibility with his appointment as a ‘whole-time director’ at Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). The decision comes after the announcement of the company’s quarterly report.
Anant Ambani is all set to step into an active leadership role at Reliance Industries
Anant Ambani, who served as a non-executive director on the board of Reliance Industries, has received a new role. On April 25, 2025, the company’s quarterly reports were announced, along with the decision to appoint Anant as a ‘whole-time director’ for a five-year term, which will begin on May 1, 2025. However, the appointment has subject to approval by the shareholders. The new change in Anant’s position as an executive at India’s largest company by market value is a big development in Reliance to solidify its next-generation leadership.
