While conversing at WAVES Summit 2025, Deepika Padukone was asked about the new phase of her life, i.e. motherhood. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she has been discovering her new life post embracing motherhood. The actress added how it changes instantly when someone gives birth to a baby, as that newbie mom has to take care of that little one all by herself because that tiny human being is dependent on her mom only. Deepika said that before Dua was born, her life was all about only herself, her dreams, and her ambition, and now, it’s all about her baby girl. Deepika can be quoted as saying:
“I’m discovering this new life post embracing motherhood. The minute you’ve had a child, you’re now responsible for another human being, and especially in the way I’ve led my life, it’s been so much about me — leaving home, my ambition, my career, and everything has been about my life and everything that I wanted for myself. And now, suddenly, you’re caring for this thing, that is dependent on you for everything.”
