Days of our Lives Spoilers: EJ starts poking
Monday, May 5th. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is kind of smug, being his usual dimply, rotten self when Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) asks why he bid on that date with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
And based on this interest and irritation, EJ starts poking and asks if Chad has feelings for Cat. Meanwhile, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) shows up to confront EJ, no doubt about ruining the adoption and her marriage to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
DOOL Spoilers: Chad asks Cat to reconsider
Chad asks Cat to reconsider something, so he may go ask her to cancel that date with EJ. He doesn’t like it. Chad’s not dating her, but he doesn’t like the idea of her being alone with EJ. Johnny consults Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about the state of his life since the EJ Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) reveal, the adoption that he called off, all that. She’s got some advice for her grandson.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) plan the drug theft. They need to get that sepsis medicine to save Bo. And Steve wants to bring Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) in to collaborate with them on the robbery plan. Shawn is unsure about that, but later this week, Kayla going to tell Steve (Stephen Nichols) they have to steal it ASAP before Dr. Russell takes his research and moves to another facility.
Days 2-Week Spoilers: Gabi Loses It
Tuesday, May 6th, we’ve got Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) losing her temper. She has been raging at Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) lately. She caught him looking through her purse. Obviously, he was looking to see if the gun was there or something incriminating.
So, I feel like whatever she’s upset about is either the EJ shooting accusation or her being unable so far to get Gabi Chic out of Titan and away from Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) bossing her around.
Tate Black (Leo Howard) tries to encourage a very depressed Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). She has, you know, lost the adoption she was excited about. She is on bed rest. And she can’t go to prom because the adoption fell through. There goes her college hopes. Her mom is back to, “You have to raise the baby yourself. Oh well, you lose your dreams because of unprotected sex.” You know, poor Sophia.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Jada Hunter Faces Questions
Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) reaches out to Doug, but he is ghosting her. It may be because Philip scared Doug, warning him about Holly getting in trouble and that he can’t really keep covering for them.
And Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) faces some questions from Shawn. And it may be about her split from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), maybe about the EJ shooting investigation, maybe him trying to find out a good way to get away with stealing that medication.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Is EJ interested in Dr. Russell’s research?
Wednesday, May 7th, Dr. Russell is over at the DiMera mansion. This is the guy who’s developed the experimental sepsis drug, you know, the one that Kayla asked him to give it to her. So, he’s at the mansion meeting EJ, who tells Dr. Russell that he plans to fund the hospital, either invest in it or outright buy the hospital.
It could be that EJ is interested in Russell’s research, or he may want somebody under his influence to put in place to, you know, give him Kayla’s job as the head honcho because she hates EJ and he’s a little tired of dealing with her.
Meanwhile, Kayla plans to deal with a couple of issues. One may be getting that drug for Bo, and another may be about the funding issues at the hospital. Plus, Xander is intrigued by what Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) shows him, and it looks like he may be telling him about Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein)’s novel.
Days of our Lives Two Weeks Ahead: Chanel Dupree Blames EJ DiMera
Plus, Shawn and Belle Black (Martha Madison) run into each other at the Brady Pub, and they are commiserating over their dads. Belle is still waiting on word about John’s fate, but everything looks worse by the day on Days of our Lives.
Meanwhile, Shawn is holding out hope that they can get this medication before Bo dies. I don’t know if Shawn is probably not going to tell Belle, since she’s the DA, that he’s getting ready to do a heist to get the drug.
Thursday, May 8th, Chanel unburdens herself to Abe Carver (James Reynolds), who consoles her. Obviously, Chanel remains devastated. Johnny called off the adoption, so she tossed him out of the apartment. He went from the DiMera mansion over to the Salem Inn, where he promptly got punched. Obviously, Tate was frustrated, but Chanel feels like her whole life is falling apart and EJ is to blame.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Cat Greene Goes All Out
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey)’s excited for her honeymoon trip with Xander, but an afternoon outing to the square goes awry and the plans fall apart. Marlena tries to help Johnny, and that could be why she’s talking to EJ at the hospital this week. Also, Kayla refuses EJ’s bailout offer to finance the hospital, but I’m not sure that’s Kayla’s sole decision. And EJ may do an end run and go around her to the hospital board.
Cat lets something slide with Chad, and it may be about him again pressing her on the EJ charity date. Also, Cat is looking good this week because she’s all done up. Nice hair, nice makeup, dressed up for her big date night with Chad’s older brother.
DOOL Spoilers: Xander Rushes Sarah to the Hospital
Friday, May 9th, Cat and Chad are comforting an upset Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia). And Alex tells Stephanie that he loves her book and he wants Titan to publish it. But did he talk to her before or after he showed it to Xander?
Leo and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) have a serious chat, and EJ takes steps to protect Johnny at all costs because EJ is certain that his son tried to kill him. I am less certain. Xander rushes Sarah to the hospital to treat a severe allergic reaction, and the honeymoon is delayed, if not completely off.
Then the week of May 12th through the 16th, we’re going to have to see if Kayla has to answer to the powers that be that actually manage the hospital, which would be the board. And turning down a multi-gazillion dollar offer from EJ to save the hospital, you know, that’s not okay.
That’s a personal decision from Kayla. The DiMeras do have legitimate money. I mean, obviously, they do some shady stuff, but it’s not like Kayla was offered mob money or something. So, I don’t know if she’s going to be able to justify to the board turning down the money. And I’m interested to hear Marlena’s opinion on it.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Chanel Worries About Johnny
EJ could make an impression on Cat. And I wonder how Belle will react to EJ having a date with another woman. Sarah’s hospital stay delays the honeymoon, and once Xander finds out she lied, well, that honeymoon is going to be over for good. Looks like she’s going to be outed here in the next couple of weeks.
Will Stephanie be upset about Alex showing her book around without her permission? And Chanel begins to wonder if there’s something more going on with Johnny. She senses some guilt, and it’s probably because he is eaten up over having held a gun on his dad. But it’s not the level of guilt you see from someone who tried to murder their father. You know, he’s not giving off a patricide vibe to me.
Meanwhile, EJ’s memories seem to be imperfect, and I’m wondering how long until he realizes more happened that night than he’s recalled. Leo keeps digging. He’s determined to get the big scoop on who really shot EJ. And Chanel is distraught. Johnny doesn’t want to lose her. This baby thing is a dealbreaker, though. And Steve and Shawn do their drug stealing thing with an assist from Kayla. Bo will be saved, but John will not. It’s a good news, bad news situation.
