Television actress, Dipika Kakar penned a strong note after Pakistan violated the ceasefire. For the unversed, on May 10, 2025, India and Pakistan came to terms to stop the military actions after the US president, Donald Trump, intervened. Soon reports were rife that within three hours, Pakistan violated the ceasefire, but the Indian defence system gave them a befitting reply. However, in the morning of May 11, 2025, India confirmed it was fake buzz and no such violation happened.
Dipika Kakar lashed out at Pakistan for violating the ceasefire within three hours of coming to a truce with India
Dipika Kakar never vocally raised her voice for political affairs in India, but her blood boiled just like many Indians as Pakistan violated the ceasefire. As the daughter of an Army officer, Dipika took to her Instagram stories and penned a strong note. She called it a cowardly act of Pakistan. She wrote:
“Violating the ceasefire in just a few hours. Yet another cowardly act by Pakistan! This is not only disrespecting the spirit of an agreement but also strikes at the hope for peace. Terrorism ko pannah dena aur kehna ki humara koi lena dena nahi yeh toh inki purani history hai!”
