Prabhas starrer Spirit has taken an entirely new turn after Deepika Padukone was reportedly removed from the film. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s collaboration with Deepika was supposed to mark the actress’ return to the big screen after giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Dua. However, some of her demands led the director to make the harsh call. Now, reports are rife that the filmmaker has decided to replace the actress with his Animal fame actress, Triptii Dimri.
Triptii Dimri roped in for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit
It was on May 23, 2025, when Triptii Dimri took to her Instagram handle and shared the big news with her fans. The actress shared a post that confirmed her casting in the film, Spirit. The note featured her name in several different languages, ending with the film’s name followed by the director’s name, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s name at the bottom. She penned a short note thanking Sandeep for the opportunity. The caption could be read as saying:
