Bhool Chuk Maaf has kicked off its first week at the box office on a promising note. The film closed its opening weekend with an earning approximately ₹11.25 crore nett on Sunday.
Its total collection now stands at ₹27.75 crore nett after three days.
Starring Rajkummar Rao, the film is a heartland comedy set amidst a wedding and a time loop. While it drew mixed reactions from both critics and audiences, it managed to gain momentum over the weekend after opening at ₹7 crore nett on Friday.
As per reports, here’s the day-wise breakdown of Bhool Chuk Maaf’s box office performance in India after three days:
- Friday: ₹7 crore
- Saturday: ₹9.5 crore
- Sunday: ₹11.25 crore
- Total: ₹27.75 crore
Produced by Maddock Films and directed by Karan Sharma, Bhool Chuk Maaf stars Rajkummar Rao alongside Wamiqa Gabbi. The film also boasts a talented supporting cast including Raghubir Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Seema Pahwa, and Ishtiyak Khan.
A report wrote, “In ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’, neither the time loop nor the love story seem wisely planned. Both are riddled with tons of loopholes and glaring inconsistencies that make it difficult to stay engaged.”
