A couple from Indore, Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam Raghuvanshi, visited Meghalaya for their honeymoon on May 16, 2025. However, things went south for Raja after he and his wife, Sonam, went missing on May 23, 2025. Soon after, a missing complaint was filed in the local police station, but unfortunately, Raja was found dead a few days later. While Sonam admitted to hiring a hitman to murder her husband and was arrested, she has now changed her statement. Amid that, Sonam’s mother, Sangeeta, has also reacted to the matter.

Meghalaya police had a massive win in the murder of Indore’s Raja Raghuvanshi. The man was on his honeymoon with his wife, Sonam, in Meghalaya when he went missing. While three attackers from Madhya Pradesh have been arrested from Indore, Sonam has surrendered in Ghazipur, UP. Amid all that, Sonam’s mother, Sangeeta, has also reacted to the horrifying news. In an interview with a news agency, Sangeeta thanked the police for finding her daughter but refused to believe that her daughter had committed the crime.
