During the conversation, she opened up about her two-decade-long marriage and shared that the incredible journey had a unique beginning. Unlike everyone’s perception that they married after dating for three years, her husband, Ashutosh Rana had decided to propose to her on his spiritual guru’s advice. She gave more context to the incident and revealed that they both were at the peak of their careers when they decided to date, so marriage was a big step. Consequently, the spiritual angle gave them the much-required push. Sharing more details about the situation, Renuka said:
“Marriage is quite a scary proposition. Being in the public eye and then two of us getting married at the peak of our careers can be difficult. One feels that nothing should go wrong, not just in the relationship, but even when you are into the marriage, you don’t want anything bad to happen.”
