He shared that he was a newbie on the sets of Rana Naidu 2, as when he joined the new season, all the stars knew each other.

Tanuj Virwani shares how he had lost confidence, got it back and spoke on his experience of working with Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati

Tanuj during an exclusive interview with Bollywood Shaadis, the actor revealed how a lot of people advised him not to be a part of OTT web series. They told him it was YouTube-like content, and he was there to be a film actor. When Rana Dagubbati and he got to work together, in Rana Naidu 2, Kriti Kharbanda was playing his sister, and Rajat Kapoor, who played his dad, with whom he worked on the first season of Code M. All got together and they jammed, creating a happy time on the sets. Tanuj shared his experience of working with Venkatesh, Rana and shared how he overcame his low-to-high phase. In his words:

“Very few know that at that point in 2016, when I was shooting, I really had my back against the wall, and confidence was also really down. None of the films worked at the box office, you know, you feel it is a make-or-break. Abhi nai toh kabhi nai. It was that sort of situation. I was a little nervous on day 1, and my first scene was with Venkatesh Sir. We had a long 5-6 page scene, and I was like, oh god, I hope I don’t screw it up and give a good account of myself.”
