For fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, there are a lot of question marks floating around. We know that a sequel series is officially in the works with Sarah Michelle Gellar set to reprise her role as the titular sassy and witty slayer, and that she’ll be serving as a mentor to a new young demon hunter played by Ryan Kiera Armstrong. Beyond those two castings, no one else — new or old — has been announced to be joining the call sheet, which has fans all around the globe creating their dream lists for who should and who shouldn’t return for the next installment. Most of us can agree that we’d love to see James Marsters reprise his role as the bleach-blonde British vampire, Spike, and, thanks to a set of comments he made while in attendance at HellMouth Con, it sounds like he’d love to be on board.
