The X-Menmovies nearly featured some very familiar faces, many of whom later appeared in Marvel projects. The X-Men franchise helped redefine the superhero genre, paving the way for the modern Marvel movie boom. Interestingly, some major superhero movie actors came to joining the X-Men universe long before they found fame in other comic book roles.
