
The first look of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana was recently launched and has already gone viral, featuring glimpses of Ranbir Kapoor as ‘Lord Ram’ and Yash as ‘Ravan’. Meanwhile, the teaser also mentioned that Sai Pallavi will be playing the role of ‘Goddess Sita’ and Ravi Dubey will be seen as ‘Lakshman’. However, in the film credits, people noticed that the story writer’s tag was given to Shridhar Raghavan, and not to sage Valmiki, who wrote the epic thousands of years ago.

Ramayana‘s first look was shared with the viewers on July 3, 2025. Along with giving glimpses of the crucial characters, it also showcased a few cast and crew credits in a unique way. The ‘Om’ symbol was first displayed, which on a closer look was engraved with carvings from the epic, Ramayana. Then the title card highlighted the actors involved and which characters they would be essaying in the film. It also showed Nitesh Tiwari as the director. However, when ‘Story Credit’ was displayed on the screen, the name of Bollywood writer, Shridhar Raghavan was flashed.
