Just a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as ‘Ram’ while striking an arrow from his dhanush, made us somewhat go gaga. Along with it, the showreel also had some out-of-the-world aspects to keep us hooked, and all eyes are on the release of Ramayana, which will take place on Diwali 2026. Among others, Ravi Dubey would be seen in a supporting role. Ravi would play ‘Ram’, i.e. Ranbir Kapoor’s brother, ‘Laxman’.

According to our epic, the Ramayana, ‘Ram’, ‘Laxman’, and ‘Sita’ would go into exile for 14 years. Laxman’s love and dedication towards his brother and sister-in-law always set an example in our history and culture. ‘Laxman’ is one of the most important characters of the Ramayana, and thus, it’s quite understandable that Ravi Dubey will have an important role to play in the movie.
