“Even with ‘With you’, I honestly thought people were gonna hate me. I don’t know why, but before it came out, I got super nervous and thought I’d get a ton of hate since I think it was the first time people saw me in a different light.”
Even now, she admits to struggling with impostor syndrome and sometimes feels like people will be mean to her online.
“I still feel like people are going to be mean to me and hate me. It’s totally impostor syndrome. I just think it and then tell myself, ‘Okay, that’s a dumb thought, just let it go. I probably need to talk to my therapist about it.’”
