Dhadak 2 Trailer: Siddhant Chaturvedi, Triptii Dimri Tackle Caste Divide In This Powerful Love Story
The much-awaited trailer for Dhadak 2 is finally out, and it promises a love story that goes far deeper than just romance. Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, the film follows two young law students who fall in love while grappling with the harsh realities of caste discrimination and identity struggles.

Directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures, Dhadak 2 is not just a love story. It’s a powerful commentary on social inequality and the cost of fighting for love in a divided society. The screenplay and dialogues are adapted by Rahul Badwelkar and Shazia Iqbal.

Triptii Dimri, who has already made a name for herself with bold and layered performances, seems to have taken things up a notch in this one. In the trailer, her character appears grounded yet fierce, bringing quiet strength to the role.
Talking about the experience of working with director Shazia Iqbal, Triptii shared, “I have been saying that I am very proud and very happy on being a part of this film. From the time I heard the narration till today, I have only experienced happy vibes about it. There couldn’t have been a better director than Shazia Iqbal; she has given us so much freedom as actors.”
She added, “An actor goes through a lot to act in serious sequences, and she has always been there quietly, without trying to force us through it. She was always smiling, holding our hands. She is the best director. We were able to do everything because of her. This is my second film with Dharma Productions and I’m really proud of this one.”
Dhadak 2 Release Date:
With Siddhant Chaturvedi stepping into a socially intense role and Triptii bringing her emotional intensity to the screen, Dhadak 2 seems to be aiming for much more than just box office numbers. It’s aiming for impact.
Dhadak 2 releases in cinemas on 1st August, and judging by the trailer, it’s a film that’s going to spark conversations.
