Marlon Wayans is weighing in on his older brother Damon Wayans Sr.’s admission that he dated his nephew’s ex-girlfriend.
“Damon, you gotta stop doing that,” Marlon, 52, told TMZ on Tuesday, April 15, noting that this isn’t the “first time” something like this has gone down.
“Damon’s the girlfriend-stealing bandit in the Wayans family,” Marlon continued. “You gotta stop this, Damon.”
The White Chicks star joked there’s “a thing” within the family. “Don’t bring a girl around D,” he said, calling his brother “a true player.”
Marlon looked into the camera and “seriously” told his brother to “stop doing that” because “it’s terrible.”

“It’s not what brothers and siblings and uncles and nephews do,” Marlon continued. “Even the ugly ones, he takes them all.”
Damon Sr., 64, appeared on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast earlier this month when the host, former NFL player Shannon Sharpe, asked about a romance rumor.
“This can’t be true … that you dated the same woman that your nephew was?” Sharpe, 56, asked. Damon Sr. confirmed it was a fact — then clarified.
“I was in love with her, that’s the thing,” he said. “Come on, you ain’t never done the Jackson 5?”
Damon Sr. was referencing Jermaine Jackson marrying Alejandra Oaziaza, the ex-girlfriend of Jermaine’s brother Randy Jackson. (Damon Sr. is one of nine siblings, including Marlon.)
“That’s off-limits, Damon,” Sharpe said, despite laughing at the comparison.
“No, but it wasn’t like they were in love,” Damon Sr. explained. “You know how small the pool is out here in Cali? The dating pool? Like, and this was probably … 2001, 2.”

When he met this unnamed ex-girlfriend, Damon Sr. admitted he knew that she was his nephew’s ex.
“I got divorced and I was by myself for two years, and then I saw her and I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m in love,’” the actor recalled. (Damon Sr. was married to Lisa Thorner from 1984 to 2000, and they share four kids: Damon Wayans Jr., Michael Wayans, Cara Wayans and Kyla Wayans.)
And yes, Damon Sr. asked the nephew whether this was OK before pursuing the relationship.
“Family gatherings is awkward,” he added.
It seems Damon Sr. has a way with the ladies — especially these days. Vivica A. Fox told Us Weekly exclusively last month that he was “just flirting” when they were on the Poppa’s House set together.
“The beautiful thing is I know the entire [Wayans] family and I’ve worked with the entire family,” she shared. “So believe it or not, that chemistry was at the table read.”
